Searching for full-time staff when needed.

After 13 years of full-time ministry I began consulting. This was 2006. I thought I’d do this for six months til I “figured out where we were headed next.” That’s what I remember telling my wife, Kristin. I assumed I’d be in local ministry cause that’s all I had ever known and wanted to do. Oh well.

Along the way the staffing/coaching thing found me. Over the last 15 years or so I’ve overseen over 300 searches for everything from interns to senior pastors. That’s several thousand interviews and several hundred churches.

I guess I’ll do this when I grow up.
